It has been an inordinately long time since I last posted here.  Since April I have been involved in the annual SFP exhibition which took place in Chichester this year.  It's quite a slog going all that way to deliver paintings and then all the way back again to collect unsold work.  But this is as nothing compared with the huge amount of work it entails for the SFP volunteers to organise, mount and then tidy away the exhibition.

I sold 5 of the 7 paintings I took down, three framed paintings and two folios.  Also sold lots of cards and books.  So it was worth the trip.

The other day I received the layout for the Ready To Paint Orchids book which I am preparing with Search Press, so I've been looking through that and correcting and adding bits and pieces to the text of the Step by Step demos.  It looks good and the publisher says it should be out at the end of the year.  Exciting!
